Your household has a lot of opinions about emergency preparedness. The dog is enthusiastic. The cat is indifferent. The kids are asking questions. And you're the one who has to have a plan for all of them.

The Whole Household Bundle has you covered.

This is the most complete set of home emergency survival kits we offer, the Guardian Go 4-Person Kit, the Small Dog Deluxe Kit, and the Cat Deluxe Kit in ONE BUNDLE. Food, water, first aid, and comfort supplies for every member of your household, human and animal alike. Nothing left out. Nobody left behind.

Because in your house, "the whole family" means exactly that.

This bundle saves you 10% off the individual kit prices.

Your Family Preparedness Planner and Pet Emergency Action Plan both download automatically after purchase, with space for everyone's information, including the four-legged members of the household.

Like everything we sell, this bundle sends one dollar per item to the National Forest Foundation.

Pro Tips

  • Store all three kits together so grabbing one means grabbing all of them. A garage shelf or mudroom works well: accessible, organized, and close to your exit.
  • Both animals will be unsettled. Familiar food and their own comfort items help more than most owners expect, for them and for you.
  • Practice the full household run once. Load the kits, leash the dog, crate the cat, everyone in the car. It will feel chaotic the first time, which is exactly why you do it before it counts.
  • Keep vaccination records for both pets in waterproof sleeves inside their own kits. Most pet-friendly hotels and shelters ask for current proof for every animal.
  • Dogs and cats behave differently under stress. The dog will take its cue from you. The cat will hide, so learn the favorite hiding spots now rather than searching under every bed with the clock running.
  • Store a jug of water beside the pet kits. Six pouches each is roughly a day and a half for a small dog and about three days for a cat.
  • Check all three kits twice a year, on the same schedule. One reminder covers everything.
  • Use the Pet Emergency Action Plan to write down both animals' vet contacts, medications, microchip numbers, and feeding schedules. If someone else has to care for them, that information needs to be somewhere they can find it.

Good to Know...

Two animals, two different problems

A multi-pet household is not simply twice the work. It is two different jobs at the same time.

The dog needs to be leashed and loaded, which is fast if you have practised it and slow if you have not. The cat needs to be found, caught, and crated, and a cat who senses something is happening will already be somewhere you cannot reach. Doing both while also getting the people out is the part nobody plans for.

Ready.gov, FEMA's preparedness campaign, recommends dedicated supplies for every animal in the household rather than a single shared kit. This bundle does that, so the supplies question is settled. The rest is knowing where the cat hides.
