Our Story
Gear Up Survival Kits was founded by Dawn Endelman, a parent and entrepreneur who saw a gap in the market: families wanted reliable emergency kits but felt completely overwhelmed by the idea of piecing everything together themselves.
Most people know they should be prepared. They just don't know where to start. Between researching supplies, comparing products, and second-guessing every purchase, it becomes easier to put it off for another month, and then another.
Dawn built Gear Up to change that. Every kit is expertly curated, fully assembled, and ready to go the moment it arrives at your door. No guesswork. No panic. Just real peace of mind for real families.
What We Do
We provide pre-packed home emergency survival kits designed to follow the checklists published by FEMA and the American Red Cross. Each kit includes the essentials your family needs: food, water, first aid supplies, light sources, communication tools, and more.
And because the details matter when it counts, we're particular about where those essentials come from. The emergency water rations we source carry US Coast Guard approval. Our long-storage meals are prepared in an SQF-certified, FDA- and USDA-registered US facility. And our kits are assembled by a specialist team that has been building emergency kits since 2007.
