Because your cat is family too.
Most households have a plan that covers everyone but the cat. Not deliberately. It's just that a cat doesn't come when called, hides when the house gets loud, and needs a carrier you have to find before you can go anywhere.
The Purr-Prepared Cat Emergency Kit covers that gap. Food, water, sanitation, first aid, comfort, and safety gear, packed and waiting before you need it. Assembled by a kit specialist that's been building emergency kits since 2007.
What's covered in every kit
Cat-appropriate food and water. Two pouches of cat food, six individual water pouches, and two collapsible feeding bowls. A good deal of human food is toxic to cats, so improvising here is not an option.
Full sanitation. A litter tray, litter, and scoop. A cat's routine is most of how a cat handles stress, and a settled cat makes everything else easier.
53-piece pet first aid kit. Self-stick bandage, trauma shears, tweezers, nitrile gloves, sterile gauze, a pet splint set, and a Pet First Aid Guidebook covering basic injury treatment and emergency planning. The guidebook alone is worth having, since most cat owners have never had reason to learn how to stabilise an injured animal.
Survival essentials. Signal whistle, light stick, reflective emergency blanket, collar, and leash. The items that keep your cat visible, secure, and manageable somewhere unfamiliar.
Toys for stress relief. A mouse toy and feather teaser. Small items, real difference. A distracted cat is a calmer cat.
Kits are packed in a black or red nylon bag, depending on stock.
Why the Deluxe is worth the difference
A soft cat carrying case (blue or red, depending on stock). This is the practical one. Most shelters ask that cats arrive in an enclosed carrier, so having one packed with the kit means you're not hunting for it or arriving without it. It also gives your cat somewhere enclosed to retreat to, which does more for a frightened animal than anything else in the bag.
A soft comfort blanket. Familiar texture in an unfamiliar place. A small thing that means a lot.
Ten minutes worth spending now. Practice getting your cat into the carrier calmly, more than once, on an ordinary afternoon. A cat who has been in a carrier before goes in far more easily than a cat who has never seen one. That practice is the difference between leaving in five minutes and leaving in thirty.
Like everything we sell, this kit sends one dollar to the National Forest Foundation.
Your cat is part of the plan too.
