The SOS ration bars are U.S. Coast Guard approved, the same rations certified for lifeboats, with a five-year shelf life and nothing to add or heat. Deluxe includes 2,400 calories; Premium includes 3,600. The 12 water pouches carry three separate approvals: U.S. Coast Guard, Transport Canada, and Lloyd's Register.

Twelve pouches is about 50 ounces. That's emergency drinking water for a wait, not a household supply and it's built for exactly this job: sealed, shelf-stable, and rated for five years of trunk temperatures that would ruin ordinary bottled water.
